Kamshet - My First "Nearly" Camping Experience!

Incase you haven't still heard about this not-so-famous place "Kamshet" , known for it's amazing paragliding experience, is a small village situated in Mawal taluka of Pune district in Maharashtra state. Not only is this place a hub for its paragliding activity but also has a whole lot of other attractive spots from hills to beautiful caves and lakes.

My very own experience had been super amazing! With absolutely no experience in camping, we decided to try out something new which turned out to be one of the memorable trip of 2017.
It was in the month of August we set out for this most-awaited two day trip. Pros: monsoon season making it more scenic and much more fun! Cons: the tents had to be set inside (now you know why a "nearly" camping experience)
The place that we stayed was Trikaya Resort (an ideal getaway location with a breathtaking view). If you are an Eco freak and love staying close to nature, trekking enthusiast and an aquaphile kinda- person, I highly recommend this place.

Any more perks with it? well, too many.. You get a mesmerizing view of the lush green forest, private waterfalls, you can relax in a hammock,  set up a campfire right outside your tent and also get delicious food with barbecue and friendly staff at your beck and call.

We reached the place mid noon where we were warmly welcomed and served with arrival snacks. We started our day with a mini trek on our way to the waterfalls. We were accompanied by one of their staff member and a little guard (hint: 4 legs and a tail ☺)
Later in the Noon we enjoyed our lunch with barbecue, followed by tea and snacks. The rest of the evening was spent mostly taking pictures, uploading them on all possible social media.
In the evening, we enjoyed some snacks and played cards. Also on request they even set up a private dance floor (how nice!) At night, tents were set up with pretty comfortable & cosy beddings.

The next day morning, a trek was planned but tired as we were we couldn't really make it to wake up on time and decided to skip the trek (which we later regretted). I somehow managed to wake up at 6:30 am and when i got out of the tent the view that i saw was mesmerizing (and unforgettable). I am still trying to figure out which part of the trip made it the so memorable, was it the spectacular view, was it the wonderful stay experience with a bunch of my close friends or was it the calmness of the place (well, i guess all of them *wink *)
